In Into the Spiderverse, Peter B. Parker is the down-on-his-luck, washed-up version of Spider-Man who enters Miles Morales’ version of Earth via the multiverse. Luckily for fans, he’s also the version of Spider-Man with the most “traditional” superhero outfit, with a twist.
In this costume guide, we will help you put together the perfect costume to really nail down Peter B. Parker’s slacker superhero look.
How to Dress Like Peter B. Parker from Into the Spiderverse
To dress like Peter B. Parker, consider wearing a dark green jean jacket instead of the usual Spider-Man bodysuit. A pair of jeans underneath will help ease the friction between your legs when you have to crawl around on all fours. Wear one brown boot, maybe with an ankle brace if you need it for the day.
Spider-Man Bodysuit
Peter B. Parker wears the traditional red and blue spandex bodysuit that almost everyone is familiar with, only he doesn’t really wear the mask when he’s out and about.
Green Army Jacket
In Into the Spiderverse, Peter wears a green army jacket with patches on the shoulders. This suggests that it is either part of his old uniform or something he found in an army surplus store.
Jeans
Peter B. Parker always wears jeans when running around in public, regardless of whether they are dirty. He probably does this to make sure he can move around comfortably without being hindered by his suit.
Shoes & Accessories
In the film, the disheveled Peter wears only one brown boot and one Chuck Taylor shoe on the other. It’s an odd pairing, but this comical look is quintessential Peter B. Parker.

About Peter B. Parker in ‘Into the Spiderverse’
In Into the Spiderverse, Peter B. Parker is the version of Spider-Man that is a cranky old man. He has been fighting crime for several years when Miles Morales is bitten by a genetically engineered spider and becomes the newest Spider-Man. He is the “original” (i.e., proto) Spider-Man.
Peter B. Parker wears the traditional Spider-Man bodysuit underneath a green army jacket, jeans, and one brown boot. He also has messy brown hair and stubble, showing how much he has let himself go.
Wrapping Up
This was a fun but straightforward cosplay to put together when I went to Comic-Con recently. Despite being a bit of an underdog going into the convention, my Peter Parker cosplay was a hit! I had so much fun embodying the character and strutting my stuff on the show floor.
